Sonya Auvray, Founder & President

Sonya Auvray, president and founder of Wetherly Group, is a highly accomplished and well-respected publicity executive with over 25 years of experience in the field. Since launching the firm in 2005, she has created and executed strategic launches that have turned unknowns into market leaders and properly repositioned brands as to realize their full potential. Always seeking opportunities to innovate and increase reach through new aspects of communication, she was one of the first to initiate a Red Carpet and ambassador program, which leads the industry today. Having played an instrumental role in the vision of clients. Sonya’s influence has been instrumental in the success of top contemporary and fine accessory brands including J Brand, Frame, Ippolita, BaubleBar, Anita Ko, Rene Caovilla, Coomi, to name a few.

Brooke Hudis, Managing Partner

Brooke Geller joined Wetherly Group in October 2018 as the Managing Partner overseeing the New York office. Brooke has a wide range of past and present beauty, fashion, consumer, luxury, media and event clients and brings 21 years of experience to Wetherly.

Prior to joining Wetherly, Brooke was a Senior Partner in the New York Lifestyle and Consumer group at Finn Partners, and before that, she was a Senior Vice President at DKC for 7 years overseeing the lifestyle group.

Brooke graduated from Ithaca College with a major in history and a minor in English. She resides in Manhattan with her husband and son.

Fallyn Valenti, Senior Account Director

Fallyn Valenti is a seasoned publicist who began her career working for brands including French Connection, American Eagle and Armani Exchange. Fallyn has worked for prestigious agencies including Seventh House PR, Factory PR and PR Consulting, gaining extensive experience in lifestyle, fashion, art, travel, consumer products and events. Fallyn’s client work ranges from the Tribeca Film Festival, Morgans Hotel Group, The Met Gala, Charlotte Ronson, Doc Martens, Uniqlo, Luxottica, KITH and Ralph Rucci, among others. Her style combines business savvy with unbridled enthusiasm providing her clients with unrivaled expertise in public relations programming, brand partnerships, event production and celebrity management. She joins the WETHERLY team as a Senior Account Director.

Melissa Rich, Account Supervisor

Melissa’s unique public relations experience has allowed her to work on a variety of verticals such as retail, hospitality, fashion and spirits brands throughout her career. Melissa is an Account Supervisor at Wetherly, responsible for media relations and client strategy on all ready to wear and accessory clients. She began her career on the Communications team in house at Max Mara, gaining experience with international ready to wear and luxury goods. She then joined PR Consulting’s lifestyle division working on Saks Fifth Avenue, where she launched their two downtown New York stores. Most recently, Melissa was at Exposure working across a wide range of brands including Uniqlo, Kith, and Jose Cuervo. Throughout her years as a publicist, Melissa has worked to secure top-tier feature and product placements for her clients which include Vogue, Elle, Marie Claire and InStyle.

Samantha Mittman, Account Supervisor

Samantha has just over six years of public relations experience working at lifestyle PR agencies, where she has secured top-tier print, digital and broadcast media placements for her clients, in addition to garnering relationships with stylists, influencers and brands for partnerships. Throughout her experience, Samantha has developed strong relationships within the industry and been able to hone in on certain skills. Her love for creative thinking and building connections have both pushed her clients and made sure they were at the center of the media landscape. Samantha has worked on brands such as Alpha Industries, Alison Lou, Billy Reid, Bombas, Nixon, RAEN Optics, Alternative Apparel, Sprinkles Cupcakes, Hoxton Williamsburg and more. Through her thoughtful approach, Samantha is able to envision unique ways to help bring overall awareness and bring her clients’ brand stories to life.

Jamie Warner, Senior Account Executive

Jamie Blair Warner specializes in celebrity and fashion media relations as well as developing integrated influencer programs for brands. Jamie is a Senior Account Executive who has a love for social media influence, being an early-adopter and traveling. She focuses her time developing strategies and management for red carpet premieres, experiential activations, wrangling, media relations and facilitating interviews with high-impact journalists. Jamie has worked on a variety of clients ranging in the hospitality and lifestyle industry such as L’Oréal Paris, HOKA ONE ONE, Belvedere Vodka, NYLON Magazine and Teva.

Paul Martineau, Account Coordinator

Paul Martineau is a recent graduate from Pace University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and a minor in Fashion Marketing. Paul balanced numerous fashion internships working in editorial at Nylon Magazine, Brides, and Niche Media and in-house at Alice+Olivia and Siren PR where Paul honed in on his public relations skills. Prior to joining Wetherly, Paul was an Assistant at Town & Country Magazine working in the Fashion Closet, developing strong communication skills while getting firsthand styling experience working with top and mid-tier brands. After leaving the editorial world, he accepted an Account Coordinator at Wetherly Fashion Group where he is responsible for all sample trafficking, pitching, reporting and event management for the fashion clients the agency represents. Paul thrives during events and enjoys working with incredible brands.

Olivia Zosky, Account Coordinator

Olivia is a recent graduate from Parsons School of Design where she studied Business and Communications. Born and raised in Chicago, Olivia moved to New York to study and pursue a career in fashion. Throughout her four years of school, she worked in-house at various brands such as 3.1 Phillip Lim, Alice + Olivia, Moschino, and Hermes where she developed a love for public relations and event planning. Olivia has a passion for styling and enjoys discovering and seeking out new streetwear brands.

Nicole Draga, Account Coordinator

Nicole began her career on the editorial side of the industry, starting with an internship in the ELLE Accessories closet. After 2 summers spent working with fine jewelry at ELLE, Nicole joined the previous Accessories Director and Senior Accessories Editor of ELLE to help launch Editorialist. Shortly after the launch, Nicole moved to Rome, Italy, where she ran the fashion department of a small lifestyle magazine called Romeing. Although Nicole loved every second of living in Italy, she decided to move back to New York, shortly after arriving back to the United States Nicole took a job as the fashion assistant at NYLON Magazine. Over the course of 2.5 years, Nicole grew from Fashion Assistant to Editor, covering the Danish Market and Jewelry. After NYLON’s unfortunate print fold, Nicole decided to take her passion for working with jewelry to the other side of the industry, joining Wetherly as the account coordinator on all jewelry accounts.



Marissa Eisele, Director, Brand Partnerships & Special Projects

Marissa has a unique background in entertainment, fashion, creative marketing/branding and bringing that all to life through experiential projects. Her career began at CAA working for one of the Partners, then was part of the West Coast editorial office for Vanity Fair focusing on talent, working within all West coast events such as the Oscar Party and producing the content series at The Sundance and Toronto Film Festivals for vanity fair.com. She then went on to the creative agency, The dFm, where she focused on digital, strategy, brand partnerships and experiential marketing. She was most recently in house for AllSaints, where she ran Marketing and Communications for North America. Here at Wetherly as Director of Brand Partnerships and Special Projects she will bring your brand message to life through unique brand and vip experiences and placing your brand front and center using her wide network of contacts gathered from her unique background. Born and raised in Los Angeles she is interested in finding unique untapped voices to tell your brand story, focusing on artists in local communities that can bring your brand message directly to a targeted group of consumers in a thoughtful way.

Colleen Johnson, Account Supervisor

With over six years of public relations experience, Colleen has worked with over thirty domestic and international beauty, wellness and lifestyle brands. From indie brands to established mass market brands, she has secured top-tier print, digital and broadcast media placements for her clients. Throughout her years as a publicist, starting as an account assistant in the agency environment, Colleen has developed unique skill sets and has cultivated valuable relationships within the industry. Her strong editorial connections and out-of-the-box PR strategies have put her clients at the forefront of the media landscape. Colleen has worked on brands such as Burt’s Bees, John Frieda, Garnier, Essie, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Sonya Dakar, ORLY and Revlon. She is passionate about crafting unique angles and creative deliveries that pique editor interest creating new, exciting touchpoints for her brands with media.

Alyssa Krassinger, Account Eexecutive

Alyssa began her career in the fashion industry as assistant to celebrity stylist Brad Goreski gaining valuable experience and extensive knowledge of stylist expectation. She then joined the Wetherly team as the Los Angeles showroom coordinator where she learned the ins and outs of VIP servicing, building her relationships with each and every showroom appointment. Over the years, Alyssa has worked her way up to Account Executive where she works across various clients ranging from high end jewelry and accessories to contemporary ready to wear. She has developed strong relationships with key stylists, agents and industry talent to help maximize awareness for her brands while infusing them with celebrity and VIP appeal. Through her exceptional product placements on A-List celebrities, Alyssa sets the foundation for Wetherly’s digital and editorial team to successfully garner impactful results for our clients.

Nicole Jackman, Showroom Coordinator

Nicole is a recent graduate from the University of Central Florida where she studied Communications and Digital Media. During college she began working as a Field Marketing Specialist for Red Bull’s collegiate field marketing team, where she developed strong skills in both internal/external communications, strategic planning and effective campaign management. She also has a strong background in Social Media and applying those skills to brand growth. She is passionate about visual display merchandising and content creation and enjoys discovering indie fashion brands and music as well as photography.

Denise Morillo, Account Executive

Denise is a marketing and communications professional with over five years of fashion and entertainment experience. She has specialized skills in entertainment PR, as well as brand building, research & development, media strategy and effective story-telling at a VIP level. With these skills, Denise has mastered the ability to strategically synergize her client’s goals with what media, industry tastemakers and consumers resonate with. She has worked with a diverse range of brands in various capacities including Monique Lhuillier, UGG, David Yurman, Tadashi Shoji, Mackage, St. John, Rachel Zoe, and TOMS. A graduate of USC and a native Angeleno, Denise is passionate about both culture and communication, and how the two come together to impact the world.
